The third and final road game of the Saints season had the travel weary Quebec team up against the Eagles who had inflicted a 50 point loss onto the Saints earlier in the year. The Saints welcomed two OAFL Division 2 rookies into the squad, Sebastien Buteau and Margo Legault. Luke Anderson would again step in as caretaker coach as Anthony Williams was unavailable.

The Saints were uncharacteristically slow out of the blocks. The Eagles height and run troubling the undersized Saints. Quebec rallied managing a late goal in the first and just keeping in touch, trailing by only 6 points at the break. The second quarter was a more even attacking affair, both teams trading goals. Saints recruit for the day Lombardini and the onball brigade of Vawser and PJ Devine starting winning plenty of the ball. Margo Legault, the first woman to ever pull on the jersey for the Quebec Saints was looking dangerous down forward, her hard work paying off as she kicked her first goal to a huge cheer from the eager crowd.
7 points down after half time the Saints started the third with plenty of run. They had been inside 50 plenty of times but the Eagles defence had held firm. Shane Shearer usually found up forward was playing down back and as such the Bleu et Blanc were lacking a tall focal point up front. As much as the Saints struggled up front, the Eagles were being suffocated across the middle. PJ Devine ran down their midfielders time and time again, giving them no time or space. The Eagles were however winning the battle in the air, moving the ball quickly and once it was in their forward half were streaming into goal often unmanned. 3 goals to 2 in the third had the Saints trailling by 11 points and wasting alot of opportunities in front of goal. The last quarter started in a furious fashion, the Saints dominating the play but once again wating chances in front of goal. Ronan Shaughnessy had been stellar all day and continued to feed the forward line, the Saints chipping away at the Eagles lead as the Toronto team tried desperately to stop the Saints steam train. The Saints added a goal and three behinds as they threatened the Eagles dwindling lead. Late in the quarter it would be a Nick Switzer goal that put the Saints up by 4 points. With time ticking away the Saints tried to steady the ship and hold on for the win, the Eagles however had other ideas. They broke free forward of centre again, streaming toward goal unmanned in numbers. The result - a goal that saw them snatch back the lead with minutes remaining in the match. The Saints determined not to go down without a fight won the next centre clearance driving the ball deep into the forward line where Margo Legault marked in front of the big sticks. Her set shot narrowly missed and the Saints trailed by a single point with around a minute to play. The Eagles kicked the ball back into play but it didn't go far as the Saints midfield forced the turnover and a quick kick back inside 50 was swooped on by Legault, she snapped truly giving the Saints a 5 point lead with less than a minute to play. Back in the centre the clock now at 30 seconds the Eagles who hadn't won a centre clearance all day picked the perfect moment clearing the ball from the middle and finding two Eagles alone in space. The Eagles player tried desperatley to handle the ground ball, Anderson sprinting toward the contest. As the Eagles player picked up the ball and prepared for his 25 metre shot and game winning goal Anderson dived into a ferocious tackle wrapping the player up and securing a free kick for holding the ball. The siren blowing seconds after the umpires whistle to signal one of the Saints most thrilling victories yet.
